Oh my goodness, how fast the time has gone. It is hard to believe that it has been 10 years since we were in High School. So much has happened since then. Well let me fill you all in on my story of what has happened in the last 10 years.

After graduation I received a scholarship to attend CEU in Price. I graduated in May 2000 with my Associates of Science and transferred up to Utah State to continue my education in Family & Consumer Science Education. While attending Utah State I met my sweetheart, Adam Holt in 2001. Since both of were very focused on our majors we became good friends. In the summer of 2002 we started dating and got engaged on December 5, 2002. On May 3, 2003 we both graduated from Utah State; Adam with a Bachelors’ in Human Resources, and I graduated with a Bachelors’ in Family & Consumer Science Education Degree. Then about ten days later on May 14, 2003 we were married in the Logan Temple. We then had a beautiful reception in my parents’ backyard in Fruit Heights.

Adam and I then moved to South Weber for a year, while he worked at Rent-A-Center as an assistant manager in Ogden. I finished of my degree by doing my student teaching at Northridge High in Layton. I was not allowed to do my student teaching at Davis High since the same teachers were still there that taught all of us. In April of 2004 I got my first teaching job at Lehi High School. Adam had just been transferred to Salt Lake with his job so it was good for both us. We purchased our first home in July of 2004 in Lehi and have lived here ever since. Four months after moving here, Adam was able to get a job with IHC in billing that had a lot better hours. Then in 2007 Adam was able to get a wonderful job with the LDS Church. He works in billing at the Church Office Building in downtown SLC and loves it. He said that he will stay there for the rest of his career.

On July 12, 2006, Adam and I were blessed with our first child, Kaylee Ann Holt. She was also the first grandchild for my family and the first girl for Adam’s. Kaylee is such a joy and we feel as though we have been very blessed with a very special little spirit. She is turning two this Saturday and we are amazed at all that she is learning each day.
Since August of 2004 I have taught school at Lehi High School. I love it a lot and teach the following subjects: Child Development, Child Care, Beginning Interior Design, Advanced Interior Design, Clothing 1 & 2, and Sports Sewing. I am also the club advisor of FCCLA which was FHA when we were in High School. I love it and love being able to get to know my students in different ways then I do in the classroom. I teach about 250 students a year and they are such a joy! This year at graduation it was weird to look at the students and think that 10 years ago that was us and these students were only 8 at the time. It is crazy how fast life really is. In May of 2007 I started my own business with Mary Kay Cosmetics and love it. I am working on earning my first FREE Car right now and plan on being a director by December 2008. I love it and love the fact that it will give me the chance to stay home with my children. Like I said before I love teaching but I also love my children more. This weekend was a wonderful time! Thank you to the senior class officers and senior committee for all of the hard work that went into all of the activities.

Holy kids and spouses! I'm feeling very behind! I better speed things along in my life before the twenty year reunion! :)

Well, Here's what I've been up to....I graduated from Utah State University in 2002, with a B.S in Family and Human Development. After graduation, I moved to Boston for a few months, with fellow DHS alumni, Cindi Miller. We lived right down town and had a blast! She was doing travel nursing, and I ended up doing data entry for a non-profit organization. I then moved back to Utah, and started working for Intermountain Healthcare. I worked at the IHC child development center, and then later, Primary Children's Hospital in the Child Life Department. I stayed with IHC for 5 years. I'm a geek, I wanted to stay the 5 years so that I could get my big 5 year gift....I had no idea the gifts were completely lame!

I now live in Centerville, with four great roommates. We have a lot of fun! I teach in an after-school program for 3-5 year olds at Rowland Hall-St. Mark's School in SLC.

My interests haven't changed a ton since H.S, as I still love to run! I'm currently training for my 6th marathon. I just ran the Ragnar Relay Wasatch Back last month, and absolutely loved it! Dan and Tanner, you guys are awesome for putting it together!

It's been so fun getting to know a lot of you post H.S! I think in the last 5 years I have met more people from our graduating class than I ever knew in H.S! I feel like I really missed out having not known a lot of you earlier! What a great group of people! See you this weekend.

I can't believe how fast time flies! 10 years?? Life has been so good to me and I have so much to be grateful for! Within a year of graduation I graduated from beauty school at Fran Brown, and married my amazing husband Dustin Stettler ( LHS class '96)! We are one of those few blind date success stories! We were lucky enough to live in Phiadelphia for two years while Dustin finished his degree. It was so fun and we took advantage of seeing as much of the east coast as possible! We moved there after our first year of marriage with our oldest Savanah who was a baby, (now she's 8) and had our second child Wyatt (6) while we were there. When we finished school, we were lucky enough to find a job in Utah and move back home! We lived in Layton for a while until I finally convinced Dustin Kaysville was better! We bought an older home and have had so much fun fixing it up! We have had 2 more kids since, Charlotte (3), who we call Charly, and Will who is 3 months old! Dustin is in Medical Sales and his office is at home, so we are very lucky and get to see him a lot! My Current job is wife, and mom, which keeps me plenty busy and I love every second! It's been so fun catching up with everyone on the blog, hope to see some of you at the reunion!

Hello, all. I love the postings.

I thought I would add my 10-year update. After school I went to Utah State and worked (surprise!) at the school newspaper, the Utah Statesman, where I met Vicky, my wife-to-be. After graduating from USU I worked as a sports writer, editor and/or designer at the Idaho Falls Post Register, Ogden Standard-Examiner (twice) and Deseret News, where I now work as assistant sports editor. Vicky, a former journalist and now sixth-grade teacher at Creekside Elementary, and I have two kids, Aiden (5-year old soccer player) and Adelle (2-year old self-described princess). We live in Layton, just outside DHS territory. Maybe, in the future, that will change and Aiden and Adelle can become fifth-generation Darts.

Celeste (Thomas) Knights
Ten years! It seems like only yesterday, until I'm in a food court full of High School teens during lunch break and I think to myself, "I need to avoid coming here during lunch." Haha…Guess I am getting old after all. The best things that have happened to me within the last ten years were marriage to my best friend Jerome Knights, and the arrival of our wonderful daughter Jasmine, two months ago. We live in Mildenhall, England with our pug, Pugsley. We both did our fair share of moving and traveling around the country and world; even before we met each other. For me, it was the College Program at Walt Disney World in Orlando and traveling to various locations around the globe while working for Delta Airlines. For him, it was his service in the US Air Force. Thankfully the planets aligned and our paths crossed in Utah in August of 2001. I was completing my bachelors at Weber State and he was stationed at Hill AFB. Three years later, in August of 2004 we were married at sunset on the beach in Hawaii. One year later, we made our move across the Atlantic to England. We've continued our love of traveling while stationed here. We enjoy all the sites and culture that Europe has to offer. Jerome is still proudly serving in the Air Force and will finish up his Bachelors in Professional Aeronautics with Embry Riddle next month. I wish we could make it back to Utah for the reunion, but Jasmine's passport will unlikely be ready in time. I'd still love to catch up with classmates so feel free to email me jeromeandceleste@msn.com.

I attended SUU my freshman year, then moved home and earned my associate degree from Weber State. I then transferred to BYU and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Psychology. (Yes, that is 3 schools in 3 years!) The summer after graduating I was lined up on a blind date with the incredible Tyler Ritchie (Wasatch High Class of '95) and after a whirlwind courtship and engagement, we found ourselves happily married only 93 days later in the Salt Lake Temple.

We made our first home in beautiful Heber City. Tyler commuted to Provo for school, and I started work at a company in Midway. I initially was a secretary, then a graphic designer, and eventually the company had me open and run a scrapbook store. The store was an awesome project and I loved working so closely with one of my favorite hobbies. I miss the trade shows and being one of the first people to see all the new product.

I quit work when our first daughter, Katelyn (3.5), arrived in August of 2004, and have been fortunate enough to be a full time mother ever since. After Tyler finished his schooling we moved to Las Vegas where Tyler is currently an Escrow Officer. Ty, partnered with his brother-in-law and brother, started a title company last year. Since living in Las Vegas we have welcomed another daughter, Carolyn (1.5), to our family. We are also expecting our 3rd child (a Boy!) this August. As a family we love to spend time with each other. We recently built a house and have enjoyed having design projects to work on together on the weekends. I have taken an interest in photography and graphic design and love to find time to enjoy them.

It has been great to catch up on what the past 10 years has brought to some of the members of our class. Best wishes to you all for the future!

So ten years has gone by and we're supposed to have grown up? It is crazy how time goes by in our lives!

Since high school graduation I have been a Viking, Wildcat, Ute, Thunderbird and Sun Devil. Right after graduation I went to Rick's College for 1 year while prior to serving my mission in Honduras. While at Rick's I met my current wife Kim, she was up there from Mesa, Arizona. After returning from my mission (and Kim from hers in Frankfurt, Germany) we were married and I began attending classes at Weber State. Eventually I decided to attend the University of Utah where I was going to obtain my business degree. At that time I had been layed off from my construction job of 2 years and Kim and I moved to Mesa, AZ. I transferred to the local community college and eventually was admitted to the Arizona State business school where I completed my degree in Business Administration. So after several years of changing school mascots I can now say I am a college graduate.

In the midst of all that school we managed to have 2 beautiful children, Connor (4) and Lyla (1). Immediately after business school I worked for a small company in Arizona doing sales and have since moved to back to Utah to work for a health care staffing company in Salt Lake called CompHealth. I have been doing sales and recruiting with CompHealth for over a year now. We have purchased a home in Clearfield, UT close to family and hope to stay here while we raise our family.

Was 1998 really 10 years ago? It seems like it was only yesterday. Well, let me give you a quick run down of our little family. After dear old Davis High I headed off to the University of Utah. I intended to date as many cute boys as possible, but met my sweet husband Ben Strong (a Brighton Bengal of ’95) in a philosophy class my first semester at the U and his first semester after his mission to Salvador, Brazil, and well that was that. After nearly two years of dating we were married in May 2000 in the Bountiful Temple. Then we both worked and studied and played at the U. In 2002 I graduated with my BA in Accounting and he completed his Civil Engineering degree. I then went on to be the accountant for the Health Promotion and Education Department at the University of Utah where I managed their grants as well as taking charge of their entire financial system while Ben pursued his MBA.

In 2003 we built our first home in Woods Cross, UT and the following year Ben graduated with his MBA and we had our first son, Brayden who is now 3 ½. After nearly a year of trying to persuade my boss that I truly would not be returning to work I was able to become a full-time mommy! In April of 2007 we had our second little boy Baylor who is now 15 months old, and busier than his big brother. And, just this March we got a BIG surprise and found out we are expecting yet another little boy this October. (Only two more boys and we’ll have a basketball team!)
While we haven’t lived anywhere overly exciting, or traveled nearly as much as we would like to, we have had lots of fun hiking, camping, fishing, and exploring the beautiful mountains and scenery of Utah; along with cheering on the Utes and the Jazz. Ben has since obtained his Professional Engineering License through California (making it possible for him to license in any state) and become a group leader at WesTech Engineering, and we enjoy traveling with him occasionally.

We are really looking forward to seeing everyone in July!

Wow, it's great to catch up with everyone. It sounds like all of you are doing very well, from your beautiful families to all of the many adventures. Thanks for sharing !

Like all of you, many good things have come into my life since our graduation back in the 1900's. I served a mission in Brasil Londrina (with fellow 98ers John Treu and Travis Hirschi--both punks :-) )...upon returning I attended BYU for a little while, just long enough to graduate with Political Science and Business degrees. My wife Emmary and I met in St. George during the summer of 2002. I was working with my father's Real Estate Development (Entrada @ Snow Canyon) and she was down from Utah State spending the summer. Though she was intent on not having a serious relationship that summer, it just wasn't in the cards for her. We were married one year later in August of 2003 at the Salt Lake Temple. Since then, we have been blessed with 2 angels for children, Addie (3 1/2) and Eli (7 weeks).

We have lived in St. George full time since early 2005, and we absolutely love it! Emmary is a Professional Mom and I am getting more and more entrenched in our RE Development Company. We have been tremendously blessed in all of our endeavors. I really can't believe it has been 10 years...wasn't there supposed to be some kind of warning? As fast as time has flown, we really should be having reunions about every year, so then at least we could feel like we aren't getting so old. Think about if we had already had 9 reunions by now, wouldn't you all feel a whole lot better about turning 30 soon?

Well fortunately for us, because we live in one of Utah's vacation hotspots, I have been able to stay in touch with a lot of Darts. We would love to see all of you. Unfortunately we can't make it to the reunion (that's two strikes...we were on our Honeymoon for the 5 year)...but we are gearing up for the next one. I just really hope it's not the 30 year..holy snikees. Thanks to Natalie, and anyone else involved, for all the planning. It sounds like the Reunion will be absolutely awesome.

As many before me have stated... has it really been 10 years? It has been so much fun catching up on everyone though this blog! Here is my little catch up, After graduating high school I went to beauty college, graduated, then did hair for a year. The spring of 2000 I moved to Boston Mass to be a nanny of 3 girls. That led me to my amazing husband Ian, who was finishing up his senior year at Harvard. After a month of dating we knew this was something special so we got engaged and were married the summer of 2001. We stayed in Boston for two years while he finished up his Masters degree in Law and Diplomacy. While we were there we had our first son Jackson who is now 5. After school we moved to the Washington D.C. area for my husbands job and we have been here ever since. The summer of 2005 we had our second son Charlie, who is 3, and I just had our third son, Mateo, on June 6th! We are so thankful for our beautiful, healthy boys and we are sad we can't make it to the reunion, but we'll be there for the 20 year....Yikes!!!

It's hard to believe that it has been ten years. That makes me feel old. We are getting dangerously close to 30! The last ten years have probably been the best in my life. I met my best friend (this hot guy right here) about 2 months before we graduated. He is my perfect match! We dated a year before we got married in the Salt Lake temple. We just had our 9th anniversary on June 30. We are very active and spent a lot of time on our bikes and in the mountains. I took nursing classes for a while only to find out that I didn't have the stomach for it. My husband, Berkley, works in Salt Lake at Pictureline. He is also an amazing photographer (this photo taken by someone else!). Berkley grew up in Centerville and graduated from Viewmont in 95'. We lived in Kaysville for 6 years and now we are in Farmington. My kids are my greatest accomplishment and I completely adore them. Ethan 5, Carly almost 3, and Ellie 2 months. There are moments of total chaos at times, but I love staying home with them. I'm excited for our reunion and to see so many familiar faces!

How to make the last 10 years sound interesting??? Considering it’s gone by in a flash it’s really hard to break it down to one paragraph and still retain all the juicy details. Ok maybe I am just delaying the simple story that is our post high school life so here goes…

Ryan and I started dating the summer after high school when he came to visit me in San Diego where I was completing an internship in Marine Biology. I had a great time but quickly decided the life of a scientist was not for me, perhaps a fun hobby but not a career. We both went to Weber that fall getting all those nasty general courses out of the way and Ryan left the following spring for an abbreviated, only in time not in excitement, mission to Zimbabwe. We were married in December of 1999 and of course life’s been nothing but a party since! That is if a good party includes hours of studying, high student expenses and tuition, working nights and weekends and finally seeing each other about 5 years into it when school is done and that “grown up” regimen kicks in. In all seriousness we have been very lucky and had a great college experience. I worked at Delta so we were able to travel the world on a limited budget, typically returning with only what little change we had in our pockets. Where would the fun be if we weren’t really pushing it anyway!? After getting his BS in Poli Sci & Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Utah Ryan started working at HP where he now manages a sales team, although he is not nearly nerdy enough to have a profession in IT. I, on the other hand, graduated from WSU in nerdy (IS&T/Software Development) and have been working in software applications for the last five years. Fortunately I am now in a position working with Oracle products for a California based company that lets me work from home. This couldn’t be better timing as we are expecting our first little guy August 11th – I am really trying to see exactly how huge I can be to see you all at the reunion! We have two adorable pups, Capri a miniature schnauzer & Sasha a lab/akita mix. We bought our house back in good ol’ Kaysville about 1.5 years ago and are happy to be back in the land of Davis Darts and Kaysville pride.
Kudos to the class officers and committee for doing such an excellent job with the site, scheduling and reunion. I know you have spent tireless hours in preparation and they are truly appreciated!

Rachel (Williams) VanDerMeide

I can't believe that a decade has gone by, and not once have I done the davis honk, or screamed 'Go Darts!'
My life in the last ten years, has been absolutely wonderful. During our Senior year I started dating a Viewmont Viking (I know I can't believe it either,) and in September 1998, Brent and I were married. We moved to Tooele for the first five years where we had our first 3 boys, and then we migrated back to Davis County where we purchased our beautiful home in Syracuse, and welcomed another son and finally a daughter to our mix. Yes, that means we have five children, Parker (9), Corbin (7), Noah (5 1/2), Bridger (3), and Annaka (9 months). Brent is a Computer Scientist at Hill AFB, where he works with classified air navigation systems. I worked for The University of Utah hospital in the emergency room for a year and then when our first son was born, I quit to be a full time mommy. Which I love more than anything in the world. Two years ago I went to a friends Mary Kay party and became a Mary Kay consultant making good money and have many great friends. I have a great life and spend much of my spare time camping in Bear Lake eating Raspberry shakes, and hiking in Moab in the spring and fall. My husband and I love to see plays on the stage and we take many trips to L.A. to see our favorite play 'Wicked' ( It's kind of a spin off of the Wizard of Oz.) I love to scrapbook, sew, do crafts and decorate wedding cakes here and there. With five kids and a very busy husband my life is moving too fast and I have to sometimes stop and take time to appreciate the many blessings I have been given. I am looking forward to seeing all my fellow Darts soon!

Since High School I have been working as a CNC Machinist. I bought a home in Ogden and lived with some buddies for a few years. The single life was great while it lasted but there was no turning back when I met my wife in 2002. Ashley Liljenquist was fresh out of High School, DHS '02, and attending Weber State University when we were set up on a date by my good friend Travis Olsen. We fell in love immediately but she made me wait until September 24, 2003 to marry me. We both worked and played for 4 years until Ashley gave birth to our little Taylor. She is 9 months old and the sweetest baby ever! I am fortunate enough to have a great job at JD Machine Shop in Plain City and that my wife is willing to be a full time mom and home maker. My wife and little girl are such a blessing to me and are my greatest accomplishment. Recently we moved up to Brigham City, Utah to a beautiful home. We feel like we live in the country! I really love the peace and quiet. Of course I will always miss good ol' Fruit Heights and Kaysville. I am looking forward to the reunion next week and seeing old friends and their families.

Not quite sure how to do this whole blogging thing. Can move around a financial software program like a wiz, but this? Psshh…

Anyhow, after high school I attended three and half semesters at Weber. Finally figured out that I do not learn very well in a school environment so after talking to my aunt, submitted my resume to Merrill Lynch for a temporary assignment in Colorado. From there, I ended up enrolling in a different temp agency specializing in accounting and after a couple of assignments ended up in an advertising agency in Downtown Denver. After five and a half years and three company name changes later I was getting bored again. One of my best friends from childhood informed me that if I was willing to come out to Virginia I could stay with them for a little while so that I could get somewhat established there. That was summer of 2006 and I am still in Virginia. Currently working for the same temp agency (different office) but the pay is the same and offers health insurance. My assignment for the past six months has been at GE Water & Process Technology.
Besides my career, a few months after I moved to Colorado I signed up at a martial arts studio. There was no way I was going to live in a bigger city without being able to somewhat defend myself. Ended up training for five years in Shaolin Kemp and the last three of those years I taught the style to new students. My favorite was teaching the children. They get bored so fast, get frustrated because they aren’t progressing, and when they figure out that they get to learn new things when the current tasks are done correctly, they just shoot up the ranks! Plus we got to work with them on teaching when fighting is appropriate and when it was not. My least favorite was teaching men in their 20’s. Fun misconception that a woman should not be teaching them. Towards the end I earned my Black Belt in Lake Forest, CA in September of 2005. Eight hour test, sometimes in the sun, sometimes not. After awhile it felt like fighting in a swimming pool.
In January 2006, I adopted Galahad from the Denver Dumb Friends League and we have been together ever since. He has come with me to Virginia and will continue to move with me wherever I go. A Border Collie who is true to his nature who always needs to be engaged with someone. But usually as long as people are around he is well behaved. Any one can tell him to go lay down and he does. He even gives ‘high fives’! Thank heavens for Petsmart training classes.

And then the question always comes up about why I haven’t found a guy to marry yet. Well, it’s going to take a very strong, engaging, and patient man to ground me. And what scares me is that I think he found me (I haven’t been looking). We have been dating for five months, the last two of those months he has been in Iraq. But if you remember anything about me, I’m very independent. But by the way our conversations have been going as late; he may end getting me to commit to him. Oiy!

Well, I will not be able to make it to the reunion as I had already had my summer trip planned to visit my family. There have been some good events that happened this year and need to make an appearance. From the few posts that I’ve read so far people seem to be happy and that is what I hope for everyone. Sorry I don’t have more recent pictures but I’ve just never really had pictures taken of myself. Best wishes and hello! And as my favorite motto says, ‘Work hard, Play hard!’

Hey! It's cool to read everyone's posts! Congrats to all the success, cute families, etc. (I think I'll follow my ol' bud Daniel Henderson's example and post a Halloween pic too--FYI: I'm Will Ferrell's cowbell guy).

After DHS, I went to Weber for a year with a music scholarship for trumpet. I then served an LDS Mission to Ecuador (I actually was a comp with another '98 DHS alumni Kevin Hunt for a bit—crazy!).

After my mission, I had a lot of fun: traveling (Costa Rica, Jamaica, etc.), and gaining a lot of weight lol (not so scrawny anymore). College wasn't my priority like it should've been, but after taking a semester off here and there, switching my major twice, I'm FINALLY going to be graduating this Fall in Accounting ("You know a lot of people go to college for seven years...")

I never played the trumpet much again, but I learned the bass guitar and played with a few different bands for a few years. One of my groups had a little bit of success down in the podunk venues of Provo and Orem. My smokin' hot wife-to-be Chelsey was living in Orem after graduating from Beauty College, so she became our band's Yoko Ono, lol, and I got married June 22, 2006.

Since then, I've taken school more seriously, and am now in a good accounting internship. Being a bum was fun for those 5 years, but married life with my best friend Chels is the best by far! She puts up with the fact I'm a nerd/dork; I guess that's because I can make her laugh, but she's pretty crazy herself.

The very best of news of all for Chels and me is a BABY ON THE WAY!!! We are so stoked--due Nov 16! In fact, we just barely found it's going to be a BOY! It was the most exciting thing for us—happiest we've ever felt!

Hope I didn't bore everyone too much with this, any of you old buddies out there give me a shout! Lata'!

Hey everyone! It has been fun to see what’s going on with all y’all. After high school I attended BYU to pursue a degree in Communications – Public Relations. While there I took a few breaks to study abroad in Jerusalem (with a few other Davis High ’98 alumni) and to serve a mission in Houston, TX – Spanish speaking. When I returned, I graduated with my degree in August ’03, and got married to Steve Connell in September ‘03. Steve is from Yakima, WA and we met during our last semesters at BYU. We lived in Park City for a few months after we got married and then moved to Alpine, UT – the halfway point between my job and Steve’s job. I worked for more than two years downtown at Zions Bank on its marketing/PR team. I managed a radio program the bank sponsored for all its clients, wrote for magazines, newsletters, etc., and produced different videos to highlight the bank. Those were good times. About three months after we got married, Steve decided to change careers and go to dental school. He got accepted to the University of Washington School of Dentistry, and now we live in the Emerald City – Seattle, WA. We love it here – especially the summers! Every time we fly back to Utah, we remark on how brown it is there! I guess we pay for green Seattle with the several days of rain we have to endure.

Now onto the most important update: our family. We have had two children, but only one is with us currently. Ethan was born in February 2006, and our precious Oliver was born in January 2008. We absolutely adore Ethan – “the prince,” and we dearly miss Oliver. Ethan currently loves trucks, cars, puzzles, the alphabet, Frisbees, and swimming. Steve and I love to ski, play tennis and other sports, and travel to wherever the wind will take us – close or far! I teach violin out of my home and stay quite busy with Ethan and other projects. Steve just started his fourth year and will graduate next June. Hallelujah! We’re pretty sure that he won’t specialize, and we’re not sure where we will live or work yet. I wish we could come to the reunion, but we won’t be in town during that time. I look forward to seeing more updates, and Happy 4th of July!

"Hello everyone! First of all, I managed to stay single for nine years after highschool before finally taking the plunge last summer. I guess it was only seven since the two mission years don't count. I can't say I particularly liked playing the dating game for nearly a decade, but my wife Heidi was definitely worth the wait. We met in the fall of 2006 and were married on June 1, 2007 in the Bountiful Temple. Since we wanted to have time to really get to know each other, we put off starting our family for an entire month. We had our beautiful daughter Aubrey this last March. I attached her three month photo. Unfortunately, we don't really have a good picture of the whole family together yet so I also attached a picture of Heidi and I from last year.

As far as everything else goes, this last year's been a complete whirlwind. Besides the major life changes of marriage and starting a family, I graduated from lawschool, completed an internship at Deloitte Tax, bought a condo in Centerville, passed the bar exam, passed the CPA exam and began working at a law firm. I work downtown at Snow Christensen & Martineau doing tax law, estate and business planning. We're looking forward to seeing everyone this summer with our little one in tote."

Reunion time already?? Wow. Are we THAT old??

After high school, I became a massage therapist and moved to Los Angeles where I fell in love with palm trees and snowless winters. I came back to Utah for a time, until I decided to try something new and moved to Connecticut. I worked as a nanny during the week and played in Manhattan on the weekends. :) Eventually, I longed for sunny California and came back to LA (Hollyweird). I still do massage at a fancy spa in Beverly Hills (celebrities included), but my entrepreneurial spirit has kicked in and I'm starting a journey as a real estate investor and business owner. I'm also training to complete my first marathon this summer for AIDS Project Los Angeles.

I'm probably the only DHS blogger that's not married with zero children..... I suppose I'm a late bloomer. :)

I look forward to seeing everyone in July! Much love......

After graduating from Davis High, I attended Utah State for a year and then left on my mission to Arequipa, Peru. Upon returning home from my mission, I started school at BYU working towards a degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Finance. I ran my first marathon in 2003 and graduated from BYU in 2004.

After BYU, I moved to Omaha, Nebraska to attend law school at Creighton University.
During my second summer clerkship in Utah, I met my wife Elisa Ward. Elisa had recently returned home from the Brasilia, Brazil mission and had just graduated from BYU in Recreation Management. We were married in December 2006 and we are expecting our first baby (it's a girl !) in September : ) We are so excited!

I graduated from law school in May 2007 and then we packed up and moved to Austin, Texas. We love it here and we're excited to become parents in a couple months. I won't be able to make it to the reunion, but I've enjoyed catching up with ya'll on this blog.

WOW!! Where to even begin...I got married to Brady Grant in January of our senior year and moved to Arizona and eventually came back to Layton. We have 5 children, Jett is almost 9 and will tower over me rafore he gets into junior high. Bridger is 7, Ameila and Stetson are 5 1/2 and Cutter my last one is 3. I didn't attend anymore school, high school was enough for me. I haven't worked out of my home in 10 years. But my family is my greatest accomplishment. My kids are all really close in age and it can get kinda crazy around our house. We spend a lot of our time at the lake and at the gym where my kids train in martial arts. They really love it, and my oldest Jett is one of the best in his class. My husband graduated from Viewmont High in "93". He is an Electrical and Heating and Air Contractor in Utah and Arizona. We consider Phoenix our second home, and I am sure will end up back there one day. It is really good to see and hear from everyone that I haven't since in years.

Hello all you amazing ‘98’ers! I’ve loved reading everyone’s stories, now here’s mine: After a rollercoaster romance that began when we were just kids at DHS, my high school sweetheart (class of ’97), and I married in March 2001 and then moved into a great little duplex a block and a half from DHS where we spent the next 3 ½ very happy years while we both attended WSU. In 2004 we purchased a home in Syracuse where we are living still, among some of the best people in the world.

I spent the first nine years following graduation working in the fields of optometry and ophthalmology as an optician, insurance and billing specialist, and ophthalmology technician – a dynamic career I found both challenging and rewarding. In April 2006 our son James was born and in June 2007 I settled into my dream job, that of full-time mom and homemaker, and I couldn’t be happier with any other career. This past March I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, Emily. I spend most of my time now chasing after my terrible (but adorable) two-year old and cuddling my sweet baby girl. Nate has spent the last three years establishing a growing small business, Netcom Consulting, which primarily manages the IT needs of small businesses. It keeps him very busy but we are excited to see what the future holds for him.
We have stayed pretty close to DHS over the last decade. Nate has offered his drumming talents in the pit for numerous musical productions for both DHS and Kaysville City Musical Theater productions. He also spent 2 years working as assistant instructor for the DHS drumline – a position which took us twice to Southern California with the marching band. We loved hanging out with the kids and being in the marching band scene again and were sad when he became too busy to continue. Since High School I’ve had the privilege of performing on the DHS stage in 5 Kaysville City Theater productions and numerous concerts with the Davis Master Chorale and plan to continue to be involved in the community arts in the future.

Not caring too much about adventure and preferring to stay close to our roots and our families, we have plans to move our growing family back home to Kaysville in the next few years. It’s been crazy and fun to read all the amazing things everyone has been doing these past ten years and to see how we’ve all grown up. A big thanks to those of you who set up and run this site!

Hey Everyone! My how things have changed in the last 10 years! Let's see.... I am a mommy with two B-E-A-U-tiful kids. Sayler is 6 ½ (the half a year is really important to a kid at this age) and Mason is 3 next month. I am a happily married woman who thinks her husband has definitely found his better half. I married Jake Ockey, he is 2 years younger and went to Olympus High. We were married January 15, 2005. I must say he is pretty amazing!! We have lived in Woods Cross for 3 years now, and have been spending every waking moment it seems going from putting in a new yard to now maintaining and constantly adding to it. Don’t get me wrong, I love it! I do try to take pride in my yard. Isn’t it funny how your wants and needs change as you get older. Well this year our goal has been getting our basement finished which has been really fun!!! I must say that if I had unlimited funds I could be very dangerous. I have worked for an Orthodontist in SLC for 5 years now and about the time my Son turned 1 I was able to start working part-time from home, billing insurance for the Doctor. My husband Jake owns a floor maintenance company called Cleaner Carpets & Surface’s. It’s so nice that he is his own boss seeing how we love to boat all summer long. I have to say I feel pretty blessed to have what I have and who I have in my life! I did live in Seattle, Washington for 4 years, and will always carry a piece of Pike's Place Market in my heart forever, but I do have to say it's good to be home! After all… “Home Is Where The Heart Is.”

A quick sketch about us.... From high school I went to BYU on a scholarship in art. I have been doing illustration and graphic design for BYU and other universities since. I spent a summer helping paint the murals at the dinosaur museum in Lehi which was a lotta fun, (except the time the great white shark sculpture I was painting detached and almost landed on me). Anyways, I am currently illustrating children's books and still teaching skiing, once in a while. Wes, (DHS '97) served a mission in Guatemala. We were married in Dec. of 2000. We went back to visit guatemala, where I earned a great respect for missionaries and the work they do.
I graduated in '02, then we moved back to Kaysville. Wes graduated from LDSBC and also earned his General Contracting license. He is currently doing remodels, and training for a 50 mile mountain race next year and mountain triathlons. Our greatest joy comes from our two little boys which we are so privelidged to have. Not a day goes by that I don't laugh hard at something they say or do. There is truly nothing better than spending time with our family.

Wow, ten years has just flown by. After graduation I left on a mission to Peru, then to Illinois with a brief intermission between the two for knee surgery. After the mission, fate introduced me to my wonderful wife DeLanie (also a DHS graduate, class of '97). A few years later I graduated from the University of Utah where I studied public relations and photojournalism.

After college we eventually ended up moving to Washington D.C. where I work for a public/government relations firm. I really enjoy helping people with good ideas have a chance at getting their voices heard. DeLanie, has her hands full taking care of our two year old son Mitchell and keeping me on track. I don't know what I would do without her to keep me together.

Whenever we find ourselves with some free time to spare, we usually spend it trail riding (the Virginia equivalent to mountain biking), or visiting historic sites as a family.

Wow, I can’t believe it’s been ten years already. Where does the time go? Looking back, it doesn’t seem like it was so long ago we were getting ready to graduate and head into the real world. Now we’re in the real world, sometimes wishing we could go back! Well, for me, life started almost right away. I met my husband-to-be during our senior year, though he graduated from Davis in ’93. About six months after graduation we were engaged, and in April of ’99 we got married. Two years later we were sealed in the Bountiful Temple. My husband decided to go back to school, so I got a cosmetology license from Fran Brown, and started working in her salon to put him through school. In 2003 we had our son Corben. My husband graduated a month or so later, and we discovered; surprise! We’re having another one! In August of ’03 he commissioned in the Air Force, and two weeks later we were on our way to Eielson Air Force Base Alaska. Almost one year to the day our son was born, we had our daughter Rylissa. We stayed in Alaska (up near Fairbanks, and the Arctic Circle) for three years. We enjoyed the 4 months of endless sunshine each summer, and bundled up in the 8 months of extremely cold and dark winter (-50 anyone?). In 2006 we packed our belongings and passports and moved to our next assignment, Kadena Air Force Base, in Okinawa Japan. We left the extreme cold, to the Japanese version of a tropical island! Shortly after coming here, we decided our family wasn’t big enough, and added our second daughter Tayzia. Tim is currently a Captain for the 67 maintenance wing, and supervises and manages 250 or so men in maintaining 27 F-15C/D Eagles. He is currently working on his master’s degree in International Relations in his hopes to continue to live outside of the US and work as a liaison between foreign countries and the US military.

I get to stay home with our kids, and expand on my many, many, interests. To keep my life interesting, I cut hair for friends out of my home, teach flute lessons, and make and sell girls hair bows. I’m also currently taking classes in the fabulous art of cake decorating. Sadly, I don’t think we’ll be making the journey home for the reunion, though I really wish I could. I would love to see everyone again and catch up. I love to read how everyone is doing, and I hope that I continue to receive news from our friends back home! Hello everyone. It's great to see everyone's blog and that everyone
is aging gracefully, in fact everyone still looks the same. I for one
still feel like a young buck who could survive the old non air
conditioned Davis High if needed. Speaking of heat, I currently live
in St. George so my wife could thaw out after attending Utah State.
Backing up a little however, I went on a mission to Buenos Aires North
Argentina after High School and had a great mission. My mission
president's wife actually taught at Davis High, her name was Mrs.
Nelson and she taught English. After my mission, I attended Snow
College in the tiny town of Ephraim, where the cool spot to hangout
was Walmart, but I enjoyed it and met my wife Holly there. After I
graduated Snow I finished my Civil Engineering degree at Utah State in
2006. I have worked 2 years as a Civil Engineer desiging
subdivisions, road, trails, and other infastructure projects. It is a
fun profession that involves designing things on the computer and then
watching them be built. My wife works at Golds Gym as a day care
specialist.
We have two little kids, Emmary and Davis, and are living the american
dream after we bought our townhome. Yes, you may say it is a house
wanna-be, but the payments are for real. We like to enjoy the
outdoors and go camping, fishing, hiking, and swimming.

It's good to hear from all of you and hope to see you at the reuniion
Remember, "never change and keep it real this summer" (as quoted many
times in my yearbook).

Life has been one great adventure after another (although I still haven't made it out of the country...)!
I spent 4 fun years at Southern Utah University, where I earned my degree in Fine Art. One random night I met my hubby, Dave. His talents, among others, including Western Yodeling and Breakdancing. We were married in 2000.
The next adventure began in 2002 when we moved to Salt Lake City to live in a tiny sky-rise apartment. I attended the University of Utah Medical School, along with such ridiculously smart people as Natalie's husband, Ben (trust me, if you live in New Mexico and get your arm chopped off, you'll want him as your ER doc). In the meantime, Dave (hubby) worked full-time and attended the U full-time, graduating with a BA in Spanish (Felicidades, Dave!).
Life got a whole lot more exciting when Timothy (aka 'Timo') was born in 2003. Since then, my motivation to perform at med school was seriously injured. It's just so much more fun to be a mom!
By some miracle (and that's not an exagerration) I graduated with my MD in 2006. Anna Bella was born during the summer of '06, then we moved to Kansas City, Missouri to start my residency in Pediatrics.
So, here we are, somewhere 'under' the rainbow. Kansas City is great! We enjoy running as a family with our red double jogging stroller, eating s'mores, ballroom dancing, and making ice cream. We almost got totalled by a tornado a month ago. But we're still standing and even enjoying the 'ride.'
Happy Reunion, everyone! Hope your lives are full of joy and peace.

After High School I went to Weber State for a year before serving a mission in Italy. My wife Lindsay and I met in a music theory class at Weber State before my mission. We were just friends before my mission but started dating about a year after coming home and we were married 6 months later. After serving in Italy, I sold alarms in Portland and Chicago for three summers to help pay for school. Our first son Drew was born on my birthday in Chicago in 2004. He is now almost 4. After graduating from Weber State in Technical Sales we moved to Las Vegas to work for Pulte Homes. Our son Cameron was born in Vegas and is now 16 months old. We lived there nearly 3 years and never really liked the heat. Last September we decided to move back home and now live in Kaysville. Mat Shaw (also a 98' alumni) and I have been close friends since high school and decided to start up a business together last fall. We own a contingent sales management company that works with builders to manage a moving incentive for contingent buyers. Confusing, I know. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion.

After graduating from DHS with a year of early college under my belt from good old Weber State, I started on the path to becoming a pharmacist at the University of Utah. After a year of treading the shark-infested waters that is the pre-med/pre-pharmacy experience, I threw in the basic sciences towel and decided I might want to try out a communications major. I failed to develop an interest in public relations and broadcast journalism, but I finally found my niche with print journalism. This was the perfect major for me, and I really enjoyed my classes. Especially the editorial writing classes where I found I had a knack for writing tirades on various political themes. I have never had a problem expressing myself, as my mother will tell you.

Meanwhile, I met my handsome husband, with blue eyes and brown curly hair and the best sense of humor I have ever encountered in a human being. We get along really well because we are both geeks. He was an anesthesiology resident at the University, and the more I heard him talk about his job as a doctor, the more I knew that I would regret it if I didn't at least apply to medical school. Luckily, the University of Utah doesn't mind people who major in writing and take 6 years to complete their BA. I started medical school in 2003, graduated in 2007, and I am just finishing up an internship at the new behemoth Intermountain Medical Center (affectionately known as the Death Star when hospital executives aren't prowling the halls). The highlight of my internship was spending a month in South Africa on a neuropathology rotation. I spent some time working with cadaver brains and went on a weekend safari with my hubby to celebrate our 5th anniversary.

I am moving to North Carolina at the end of June to complete a residency and fellowship in radiology at Duke University Medical Center. Only 5 more years of school! If you ever need somebody to analyze your insides and point out all the weird stuff in your tummy or brain, I'm your girl. Just remember, you never want to be a "really interesting case."

When not working 80 hours a week taking care of all the sweet little old ladies in Utah, my husband, Michael Tielborg, and I enjoy hiking with our two adopted pound puppies (Maggie and Lucy), camping, snowboarding, golfing, traveling and eating really good food wherever we can find it.

Sorry I will be missing the reunion this year. Hope to see you all at our 20th!

It is so crazy to me that it has been 10 years. It's so fun reading how some of you are doing now, but where are the rest of you? I'm so sad that I lost touch with almost everyone. As for me, after graduation I started attending Weber State. In the summer of 2000 I was set up on a blind Date with Derek Larsen, a Weber High Alum. He had just completed his LDS mission to Chicago (spanish speaking), and was preparing to return for his 2nd year at Ricks College. Our dating and engagement were long distance, he in Idaho, I in Utah. After we both completed our associates degrees in May 2001 we were married in the Bountiful temple. Derek received his Bachelors Degree from Weber State, and was hired by the the LDS Church as a Seminary Teacher in Dec of 2003. I love that my husband is a seminary teacher, it is a fun reminder of old High School days. We moved to the amazing community of Thatcher AZ, where Derek teaches at both Thatcher High, and Pima High Seminaries. Derek also just completed his Masters Degree, and I am blessed to stay at home with our kids. We have two sweet daughters. Holley was born in December of 2002, and will start kindergarten in the fall. Brinley came to our family in September of 2006 and is such a fun 20 month old. Hello everyone! I can't believe it has been 10 years. Where does the time go? Well, after high school I attended Weber State starting out in Elementary Ed. I married Steve Gilmore, Davis grad. of '96, in September of '99. We had our first baby born August 23,2000. Her name is Katie and she will be going into the 3rd grade. On December 16, 2002 we had our second baby. His name is Rylan and he will be going into kindergarten. Shortly after Rylan was born Steve graduated from Weber State and was commissioned into the Air Force. We were surprisingly stationed at Hill AFB for 3 years. While we were at Hill I completed my CNA certificate. Shortly after we decided to buy our first house in, yes, Kaysville. Kylie was born on October 21, 2005. We then moved to Colorado Springs, Co. (Schriever AFB) June of 2006, which we are currently living. On January 3, 2008 baby #4, Joshua, was born. I love being a mom even though it is a 24\7 job. I read a news article that said if stay-at-home mothers were to receive a salary, they would be making roughly $120,000 a year. I disagree. I would say that it would be much higher ;). In June Steven will be receiving his MBA. I'm very proud of him, but it is a big stress relief for me. I'm really looking forward to seeing all of you at the reunion. See you in July!!!

So what has Kara Alexander-Agresta been doing for the past 10 years? After high school I left the comforts of Utah and headed East. There I attended Merrimack College where I majored in soccer and minored in partying. Along the way I managed to obtain a degree in Sports Medicine. After graduation I traveled throughout Australia for 4 wks, did some research, and then returned back to Boston. I stayed in the Boston area for an additional year to play and work of course, then returned to Utah. I then followed up at the University of Utah to obtain my graduate degree. In the middle of graduate school my husband, Matthew, was lucky enough to have found me! We recently wed this past September on Cape Cod and honeymooned on Nantucket Island. That is why I am posting a wedding picture. I am currently working as a Physicians Assistant in Heart Failure and Transplant at Intermountain Medical Center and my husband is a Family Physician in West Valley. We are very busy with our dog, Alta, who is our pride and joy. She joins us for biking, skiing, running, swimming and camping. Much to our chagrin she also enjoys chewing up our new sprinkler system! Matt and I currently live in SLC and have enjoyed all the outdoor fun to be had. In addition we are frequently visiting the East coast to see friends and family and hope to eventually move back, but for now, we are enjoying what Utah has to offer.

Greetings to all of you. It's amazing that it has been ten years now since we have all graduated from dear old Davis High School.

These last ten years for me have been busy just like everyone else. I served my mission in Charlotte, North Carolina. I have worked in many various job positions getting ideas of what I want to do with myself. I'm still active with my running. I have ran three marathons since high school St.George, Logan and Boston. I plan on running two more this summer. I met my wife Faith through my younger brother who attended EFY up at Weber St. She was my brothers counselor. Yes it was a blind date and you all know how blind dates are, awkward and uncomfortable at least for me. We both got to know each other pretty well and had fun playing twenty questions on the first date. Less than a year later we were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on May 26, 2006 and we are greatful to have one another. Then almost two years later on February 26, 2008 we were blessed to have a little baby girl who we named Aine. She is such a sweetheart and brings joy and happiness into our lives. We currently reside in downtown Salt Lake. I am currently going to school at LDS Business College. I am working towards my Associates degree in Business Information Technology. Other than that I am enjoying life with my family. Look forward to seeing you all in July.

10 years have went by way to fast and when I think of what that means in my life it amazes me. I finally have a few minutes to write this as I finish up my Saturday morning coffee before we start on our chores.

As I look back on the last 10 years I can remember illness, loss, divorce and sadness, but then I remember God is good and there was also love, laughter, friendship and happiness.

I married my husband Jeremy in July 2002 and, after 2 years of trying, he finally moved me out of Davis County and we made Herriman our home. We absolutely love raising our family, Devin (10) Cayden (6) Bryan (3) and Girl #1 due in June, and our two dogs, Toby (the Thousand Pound Beagle) and Chica (aka Vicious the Mutt) here and have no plans of leaving. In addition to helping raise our family I work at DeltaValve, an industrial valve manufacture in the Oil & Gas Industry, and my husband manages Eagle Finance and will be going back to school this fall. On the side we own a daycare in Riverton, which is our retirement plan.

Even though there are no LDS missions in our family, our life revolves around God and family. We are part of a church plant in Herriman and enjoy spending time fellowshipping with other members of our church and reaching out to the community.

After High school I hung out for a year before serving in the New York, New York North mission. I came home in June 2001, and married Becky Callahan (class of 97) in January 2002. We moved to Bountiful, I worked full time at a wood Mill, and attended Salt Lake Community College in Mechanical Engineering at night. In May 2004 our son Logan was born. We moved a lot, but stayed in Bountiful. In 2005 I took a 3d class and loved it so much I changed majors at school to Computer Graphics, quit my job, and started drafting (for experience in architecture so I could increase my chances of getting hired at a firm). After 8 months I started working at Bowen Studios as a Architectural Illustrator (if you want to, check out our website www.bowenstudios.com). In 2007 we moved to our house in Centerville, I finished school and was promoted to Project Manager. In October our daughter Hope joined the family, and now we are just enjoying life.

I guess after months of perusing everyone else's blogs and bios, it is finally our turn, however we prefer reading the spotlights, rather than being in them!

(Thanks to my persistence I might add…Maria did try to 'Dear John' me on two occasions.) About one week after we were married we boxed up all our wedding stuff and moved to London where Maria was finishing her final year at the Royal Academy of Music. I was fortunate to go along for the ride! Maria had already spent 3 years there at school and 1 year in Prague with her parents who were serving as mission presidents. While Maria was studying I worked for a healthcare company based in Windsor and I absolutely loved it! London was good to us and to this day Maria still says that she has to go to the 'loo', not the bathroom.

I'll be opening Go Motors next week. Maria started teaching immediately when we got back from London and her studio has grown like crazy over the years. She teaches about 30 students out of our home and we feel lucky that she can do that while still having the girls close by. When she's not teaching she's gigging around town….you may catch her at Pioneer Memorial, at Ballet West, or on an occasional Music and the Spoken Word. I'm just trying to keep up with her and the other 4 children we have – the harps! We now live in Farmington and have for about 4 years. We love it here and enjoy bumping into other classmates often…(even if we don't always remember their names!)

Chris and I have now been together for over a decade. It's crazy how old we are getting! During our senior year of high school we attended WSU. I graduated with a BS in English/Art Teaching in 2001, and an MEd in 2005; Chris graduated with a BFA in 2002. I am finishing up my sixth year as a junior high English teacher (at Syracuse Jr. High), and Chris currently works as a stock broker for Fidelity Investments.

We have lived in Syracuse for the last five years. We've been working hard, playing hard, and loving life with our beautiful 18 month old daughter, Maiki.

I can't believe it has been 10 years. Well, since graduating from Dear old Davis High I received my Dental Assisting diploma and worked in a Dental office in Farmington. I attended Weber and also worked part time at Oakridge Country Club where I met My Husband Aaron Boaz. We dated for almost 2 years and were finally married October 2001. Aaron had a daughter from a previous marriage and so I was instant mommy which I loved. Aaron was finishing his nursing degree at Weber and in January of 2003 we had our first son Luke. Two years later we had our second son Zachary. They are so fun and I am lucky enough to stay home and take care of the rugrats. Aaron is a rep for a Pace Maker company. We live I Syracuse and are loving life. I can't wait to reunite with all of you this summer.

Jocelyn (Newman) Tanner

Hello from Boise Idaho. It doesn't seem like I am that far from my home town so I keep hoping that I will run into someone from High School. Five Years in Idaho and I still haven't had that experience. Strange, I know.

I am finding it difficult to sum up the last ten years. Here we go: School, kids, job hunting, school, mortgage, kids, school, 10 extra lbs, job hunting. Did I miss anything? It's been a crazy adventure – but a fabulous one. I have a wonderful husband – Trevor and three cute girls: Kamber (7), Elaina (5), Abigail (2).

The last ten years have taught me one thing about myself. I am completely motivated by fun. (Maybe that's why I wasn't Valedictorian!) There isn't time enough in a day for the fun things I'd like to cram in. Anyone else out there share this problem? I hope so……..I need some validation because a little voice in the back of my head keeps telling me to grow up!!

In case you forgot…
I am a dynamic figure, often seen scaling walls and crushing ice. I translate ethnic slurs for Cuban refugees, I write award-winning operas, I manage time efficiently. Occasionally I tred water for three days in a row. I can pilot bicycles up severe inclines with unflagging speed, and I cook 30 min brownies in 20 min. I am an expert in stucco, a veteran in love, and an outlaw in Paraguay (that is a whole other story). I can hurl tennis rackets at small moving objects with deadly accuracy. I bat .400. The laws of physics do not apply to me. Children trust me. On weekends, to let off steam, I participate in full-contact origami. Years ago I discovered the meaning of life but forgot to write it down. Using only a hoe (garden implement) and a large glass of water, I once single-handedly defended a small village in the Amazon Basin from a horde of ferocious army ants. I have played Hamlet, performed open-heart surgery, and spoken with Elvis. But I have yet to hear from any of you!

In between doing all that, I served a mission in the Brasil, Londrina Mission (98-00) along side several other Darts (Merrick Jackson, John Treu & Brady Platt). Upon returning home I started my studies at Weber State during that time I meet my beautiful and wonderful wife, Megan Richter from Bountiful. We were married in Aug '02. I transferred to the University of Utah and graduated….. We stay busy with our 2 beautiful children Samantha ('03) and Benson ('07). We also stay busy building a business, an Insurance Agency for American Family Insurance in Centerville, UT. Daniel Henderson here! It's fun to read about everyone here. After graduating, I spent one year in Baton Rouge, Louisiana studying jazz trumpet at LSU before serving a mission to North Carolina. I finished my degree at BYU and married Michelle, who is from Seattle, WA (and is a yummy but dangerous pirate, as shown above).

We moved to Boston, MA, three years ago to do my Master's degree in jazz composition at the New England Conservatory of Music. We love Boston! Here, we had our boy Logan, who is now two. We're living in Boston for a couple more years while I stay at the Conservatory to work on my Doctorate degree in jazz composition, and to do a Teaching Fellowship at Harvard University (teaching jazz history). I'm also having fun playing my trumpet and singing with lots of jazz bands around Boston. We live close to the beach and downtown, so we love exploring the city and learning its history. I hope to be in touch with old friends soon!

Dee and I met after he returned from serving a mission to London England. Well, it was more like re-meeting. We actually grew up in the same ward. It was only about two weeks after our first date that he asked if he could take me ring shopping. We fell head over heels in love! (I know it sounds cheesy but how else do you describe it?) We were married August 7th, 1999. Dee works full time and goes to school full time too; he will have his MBA at the end of this year. He has sacrificed so much to go back to school-we LOVE him! He works for Intermountain Healthcare in the supply chain contracting and finance department at the corporate office in Salt Lake. So all dressed up he goes in the morning, and from his desk he’s living his dream and working hard on making all our other dreams come true! We have been blessed with two AMAZING children, Taycie-7 and Tanner-2. I am finally so lucky to be home with them 100 % after spending time on-again off-again in the workforce. They never slow down and manage to make very big messes. Taycie asks me questions until my head hurts. Tanner likes to climb on, and then jump off, everything. I never knew kids could cause so much trouble-and bring so much joy and love into your life all at the same time. It’s been absolutely wonderful being a mom and I wouldn’t trade them for anything. And lastly, we have moved from Layton BACK to Kaysville three different times. Always knowing Kaysville was HOME. So now we have really settled and are here to STAY for sure. Taycie is finishing the first grade and we are really excited for summer. Parks, picnics, swimming, and play, play, PLAY! See you all in July!!

After High Schoool I went to the University of Utah as a Modern Dance major, but eventually decided that wasn't the degree I wanted so I transfered up to Weber State. I met my husband Matt in 1999 and we got married in 2000. We lived in Clearfield for a while and while we were there we had two daughters, Shelby who is 7, and Amelia who is 5. In 2003 we moved to Atlanta Georgia where my husband works for Delta Airlines as a VP of IT. In 2004 we had our third Daughter Audry, and in 2007 we had our 4th daughter Sophia. I am lucky enough to get to stay home with my 4 beautiful girls. We keep busy traveling all around. This picture is from our latest trip to St. Thomas.
We are hoping to be able to make it to the reunion this summer, it is so fun to read what everyone has been up to the last 10 years, can't wait to see everyone and catch up!

Hey, gang. It’s been cool reading up on everyone. Man, we’re getting old. Well, I have some time to write this paragraph tonight because I’m hiding out in my hotel room on a business trip. There is a drag queen cabaret in the lobby/bar, so I don’t really want to leave my room. If any of you have become drag queens since graduation, I hope I haven’t just offended you. I’m not passing judgment. I’m sure Michelle (the lingerie-wearing man that invited me to the show) is a very nice person. He just makes me feel uncomfortable.

So anyway, on to my life: After Davis I went to BYU for a year, lost my scholarship skiing and sleeping in and not going to class, and then went on an LDS mission to the Connecticut Hartford mission. I came home and went back to BYU. This time I was more disciplined and did ok. In 2004 I married Jamie Jensen, the sister of a mission companion. Our marriage is great. My mom always told me marriage was hard. So far it’s been easy. She’s a great fit for me--really funny, artistic, musical, and a good dancer. She loves me a lot but is embarrassed by my musical and dancing talent. I always knew I was bad at that stuff, but she has me convinced that I’m more likely partially retarded.

Around the time I married Jamie, Tanner Bell and I started Backroad Events (now Ragnar Events) and the Wasatch Back Relay (now Ragnar Relay – Wasatch Back). It’s basically a 180-mile, 12-person, running relay race. It’s more about the party than the running. The race did well and grew. Tanner and I quit our jobs and started a national series called the Ragnar Relay Series. This year we have 7 races, all similar to the original, with races in Arizona, Washington State, Minnesota/Wisconsin, the Washington D.C. area, Texas, and Florida. We have 11 employees.

On October 23rd Jamie and I had our first son, Max Jackson Hill. He’s 7 months old now, and his personality is starting to show through. He’s very smiley and happy. He loves to smile at strangers, and he laughs a lot. I can’t believe how much I love him. People always talk about how much they love their kids. It really is impossible to understand until you have your own.

Well that’s about it. Thanks for updating me on your lives and letting me update you. It’s going to be fun to see everyone in July.

After graduation, the first thing I did was serve a mission in the Dominican Republic. After spending a couple of great years there, I enrolled at Utah State University in the Computer Engineering department. A few months later, while home for the summer break, I met this really cute girl named Aubrey at an institute class. After dating for a little while, we decided to get married, and after what seemed like the longest fall semester ever we were married the day after my last final test in 2001. Our oldest, Noah, was born in 2003, and I finished up with my degree a year later. After that, I got a job in Boulder Colorado, where our little girl, Tess, was born. We only stayed in Colorado for a year, after which we picked up our family and moved to Texas. We moved to a little town named Royse City, which is about 45 minutes east of Dallas, and bought a house. It's only 20 minutes from my work as a software engineer at a local defense contractor, way shorter than the commute into Boulder. A year and a half after settling in, our 3rd, Tate, was born.

Nowadays, we all keep pretty busy. I'm either at work, playing with the kids, or being cubmaster, while Aubrey's usually busy chasing 3 kids and being generally amazing. Noah is almost 5, and will be entering kindergarten this next year, which is absolutely nuts. Tess is 3, and is just the cutest little girl. When she's not pretending to play "Mommy," feeding and dressing and taking care of her dolls, she's chasing her brothers around. Tate is 1 year old, and is just starting to chat and play and run right behind the other two.

It's only been 10 years, but now we've got 3 kids, a minivan, and a mortgage payment, and it's really hard to believe how fast it all happened. We're very happy that we were able to align our annual trip to Utah with the reunion, and we're looking forward to seeing all of you there. What a fun group of people! It is great to hear about everyone. A brief
catch-up: After high school I went to BYU for a semester and then served a
mission in Manila, Philippines. After my mission I went back to BYU, where
I was set up on a blind date with my gorgeous wife, Katie. I took the Brett
Garner route and married an Alta Hawk (no worries, she can sing the DHS
fight song from memory now). One of my close friends from BYU ended up
marrying Katie's twin (not identical), and then we set Katie's brother up
with another one of our close friends and they got married (2002 was a big
summer for Katie's parents). Needless to say we all have a ton of fun
together. Katie graduated from BYU in accounting and worked in accounting
and university recruiting for a few years while I got my act together and
graduated from BYU in Biochemistry. After I graduated we moved to Chicago,
where I attended law school at Nortwestern University. 3 weeks before we
moved to Chicago we had our son, Trevor. He will be 4 in July and is the
joy of our lives. We loved the Windy City and put about 70,000 miles on our
car roadtripping around the country during our 3 Chicago years. After law
school we were 99% positive that we would never go back to Utah. Nope,
Flower Mound, Texas (suburb of Dallas) was supposed to be our next home and
we were excited to live by 3 of our close friends from Chicago that were
also moving to Dallas. But at the last minute we decided to take a job
opportunity in Salt Lake City. Now we live in good ole' Kaysville. My wife
is still getting used to the Davis High idea, but I think she will
whole-heartedly convert before to long. Life is great! Looks like we also
need to work on our family pictures. Thanks to Natalie, Kara, Carrie and
whoever else is helping with the website and reunion.

David Stringfellow
After graduating from Davis High I spent a year at BYU, where I was bedazzled by my now wife. Following 2 years in the Netherlands and Belgium on a mission that never fails to remunerate - I returned and quickly secured my future by marrying Angela Soren in May of 2002. We graduated in December 2002; she in Elementary Education at USU and I in Economics at BYU. A grueling job search during the jobless recovery following the last official recession sent our journey to Washington D.C. in May of 2003. While working on economic statistics at the Census Bureau, I came to appreciate the vast complexity of our world and how to grapple with massive amounts of data. Most importantly, in April 2004, we welcomed our daughter Abigail into our family. Serendipity led us back to Utah in September 2005 where we bought a house in Kaysville and I started working in the Governor's Office. Jonah was born January 2006 and Eli arrived in December 2007. As an Economist in the last few years I've had the pleasure of reviewing tax policy, forecasting revenue for Utah's budget, and building economic models culminating in the reform of Utah's individual income tax system. I'm also finishing a Master of Public Policy from the University of Utah and look forward to the reunion this summer.

10 years later and I am back in Kaysville, happily married to my dream boy--Cameron Eggertz; and loving the laughter and chaos my 3 kids bring: Josh (5), Daxton (2), and Ella (1) Since High School, I graduated from Weber State University in Elementary Education, taught 5th and 2nd grade at Plain City Elementary, then moved to St. George for 2 years. My family and I just got back from living a year in Belgium while my husband got his masters in International Relations. Now we are back in our home, loving America and loving the sunshine! (Belgium gets rain 300 days a year, however, it felt like a lot more than that.) I read that Rainey served her mission in Belgium-we'll have to talk! Looking forward to the reunion!

Hello everyone! I am very excited to see everybody at the reunion seeing as how we haven't lived in Utah since 2002. After high school I went to college at Weber and lived with all my girls from high school off and on. What a fun time! In my junior year I met my husband, Todd Golden, in contract negotiations class. We were married September 12, 2001 (yes, the day after 9/11) and we both graduated in Technical Sales in May of 2002. We moved to N. California right after and lived there for three years where I worked for HP as a Territory Sales Manager until I got pregnant with our first child, Tyler (4), and then my husband took over my job, got promoted and we moved to Tennessee when I was seven months pregnant with our second child, Abigail (2). We have been in Tennessee now for exactly three years and we absolutely love it. I think we are here to stay! Currently, Todd just changed jobs and is now a Pharmaceutical Sales Rep in the Neuroscience division for Eli Lilly and I am the Chief Home Executive J with my two little buddies. We try to come to Utah at least once a year and this time I am glad we got to line it up with the reunion. See ya there!

Matt & Sarah (Burtenshaw) Redd
Matt and I were married in May 2001 shortly after he returned home from his mission in Oslo, Norway. I had just graduated from BYU in Fitness and Wellness Management (Matt's pretty sure it's a fancy title for P.E. and that I learned how to jump rope). I was then hired by Novartis Pharmaceuticals and worked as a Drug Rep in Northern Utah for 5 years. Matt went to the U and graduated in Finance and was applying for medical school when we had our little boy, Jack. He is quite the character and already has his dad's sense of humor. He will be 3 in July and keeps me busy! We are now living in Glendale, Arizona where Matt is going to medical school at Midwestern University. In February of this year we had our daughter, Ella. She is now 2 months old and is Daddy's girl and Mommy's sweetheart. We are loving Arizona where the kids and I can be found at the pool or the park almost everyday. We miss friends and family but have made the best friends down here and feel truly blessed. We will be in Utah for Matt's first rotation in July so are excited to see everyone at the reunion!! I almost missed Matt's biggest accomplishment in the past 10 years......Wheel of Fortune.....he won a trip to Jamaica, $1000 in Hickory Farms gift certificates (that's a lot of sausage) and about $10,000....random, I know, but are you really THAT surprised?

Sara Louise (Williams) Vernon
After leaving the illustrious halls of DHS, I moved down to Provo to attend BYU. A proud Cougar, I studied Elementary Education and graduated in 2002. During those four years I met many nice young men, but no one could compare to the handsome and charming Andy Vernon from Sandy (a Brighton High Bengal--yuck!). Recently returned from a mission in the Dominican Republic, he was tall, tan, and drove a Camaro--how could I resist? We dated 10 months and married in the summer 2000. We spent two happy years living in the cinderblock luxury of BYU housing, with a brief summer working out in the Washington DC area where I enjoyed working as a tour guide and learning all about that amazing city and its history. After my graduation, I spent a year commuting from Provo to Tooele (thank goodness gas prices were lower then!), teaching fourth grade while Andy finished up at BYU. We moved to Mesa, Arizona in July of 2003, arriving on a day when the temperature reached 117 degrees; "trial by fire" has a whole new meaning for me now! Andy attended school at the brand new Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health for the next four years, one of the members of the first graduating class in 2007. During this time, I taught second grade at a very low-income school in the heart of town. Most of my students were ELL students, many of whom came into my classroom without knowing a word of English. It was very challenging, but rewarding at the same time. After two years in Mesa, our adorable daughter, Katie, was born. I was excited to be able to stay home full-time with her, although I missed being able to sleep more than three hours at a time. When Andy graduated in May of 2007, we moved back to good old Davis County and bought a house in Bountiful. In July 2007, our son, Micah, was born. Andy is currently working as a dental resident at the University of Utah Hospital and we are exploring our options as to what we will end up doing next. In the meantime, I enjoy reading, watching "The Office," and dreaming of the day our student loans will be paid off.

Taylor (Neville) Johnson

Here goes my attempt at summing up the past 10 years.
First, I flunked out the physics program at the Univeristy of Utah.
Then, I spent the next year in China hiding from my college failure and having the time of my life.
Next, I graduated from the U of U with a less than marketable degree in English Literature (don't worry, I shrewdly doubled my market value by minoring in Latin).
Oh wait, before that, I married Shawn Johnson (DHS class of 96).
Then, I dragged my poor hubby to Southern Illinois so that I could complete my masters degree in Behavior Analysis and Therapy (working with children with autism, mostly)
And most recently, I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl and now we are happily living in Seattle, WA.

David Welling
After Davis High and one year at BYU, I served an LDS mission in Yeketerinburg, Russia. Following two exciting and challenging years in Russia, I returned to BYU where I graduated with a degree in Business Management. Following graduation, I took a job in the Capital Markets group at Zions Bank.

In 2005, I married the beautiful Courtney Wilkins from Houston, TX . Immediately following our honeymoon, we moved to Philadelphia where I attended the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Courtney and I love being married and have enjoyed being able to travel a bit together. In 2007, I graduated from Wharton with an MBA.

We now live on Manhattan (on Wall St. of all places) and have been trying to experience all that New York City has to offer. I work on the Corporate Derivatives desk on HSBC's trading floor. On March 8th we were very excited to welcome our daughter, Addison Layne, into the world. We have been very busy learning how to be parents and loving life.

It has been fun to read through everyone's updates and contemplate all of the living that has occured beyond the lists of places and experiences that result from trying to condense 10 years into a few short words. Go Darts!

Natalie (Nilson) Sill

Lots has happened in 10 years, but I still feel like I should be wandering the halls of Davis High. How did I get so close to 30?
After graduation I attended Weber State University where I met my husband, Ben Sill who is from New Mexico. After his adventure working on a fishing boat in Alaska and a semester abroad in Jerusalem for me, we were married in July 2000. I graduated from the University of Utah with a Health Education degree in 2003. Our first daughter, Maija, was born in April 2004, and our second daughter, Brielle, was born in April 2006. Ben graduated from the University of Utah Medical School in May 2006. We are now in Albuquerque, NM while Ben finishes up an Emergency Medicine residency at the University of New Mexico Hospital. I stay at home with my two girls and enjoy typical 'mommy stuff'- scrapbooking, cooking, and trips to the zoo. :) My husband is the king of forcing me to try new things, and as a result I have seen many parts of the world, successfully built a playhouse, taken up road biking (complete with padded spandex) and also succeeded in growing a monstrous vegetable garden (all with his help of course). Still trying to make the summer schedule work for July- but I hope to be able to attend the reunion and reconnect with you all.

Mindy (Lochhead) Hardy
Thanks for all the updates! After high school I moved to Provo and attended BYU, where I met my husband Scott. In 2000 we moved to Boston, where Scott worked for a management consulting firm and I finished school, studying interior design at the Boston Architectural College. Two years later I ate all my words about Texas and we moved to Dallas, where our daughter Claire was born three months later. We lived there for one year, and I actually ended up liking it quite a bit. But always up for an adventure, we picked up and moved to Birmingham, England for a year where Scott worked on a turnaround project for a drill bit company (random, I know). We absolutely loved living in England, making great friends and traveling around the UK and Europe. Obviously not being able to stay in one place too long, we moved back to Boston for Scott to attend graduate school. This was seriously the best two years of my life. We made amazing friends, and loved living the student life again. After Scott graduated with his MBA, we moved back to Dallas and welcomed our son Isaac three months later (yes, there is a pattern here). We are going on two years now, and are happily settled into suburban life. Scott works for the consulting firm McKinsey & Co.—Claire (5) attends preschool, is saving to buy an acre of rainforest, and pretty much runs the household—Isaac (18 mos.) is oblivious but happy—and I…, well I just try to keep everything and everyone together, with a home-improvement project here and there, lots of walks to the park, occasional "mommy time" (running, sewing, yoga, violin), and dinner (if we're lucky). The photo is a year old now, but it gives you the general idea. Scott's family reunion is in Utah the same weekend as the DHS reunion, so hopefully we can sneak away for a bit and say hello.

After graduating from DHS I attended Utah State University for a year and then transferred down to Weber State. I married my cute husband Brian Hyde (he is also an alumni class of ‘96) we have been married for 7 years. We both received our degrees from Weber State University. I got my degree in Health Promotion and Brian received his degree in IS&T. We have two beautiful children, who we just love and adore. Porter will be 5 this month and Isabella is 22 months. They are the best of buddies and keep us laughing all the time. We currently are living in West Layton and love our neighborhood, Brian works in Salt Lake for Del Sol writing reports and maintaining the company’s Database. I am super lucky and stay at home with my two best buddies. They bring so much joy and laughter into my life. Life couldn’t be any better!!! I hope everyone is doing wonderful; I look forward to seeing everyone this summer

After DHS I went to BYU and studied Linguistics. I went on a mission to Leipzig Germany, and am still suffering from an addiction to great chocolate! After BYU I went to grad school and got an MBA at the Provo campus of University of Phoenix. During that time I met David and we were married in August of 2005. We now live in Cambridge, Massachusetts and David is just finishing up his 2nd year at Harvard Law School, with one more year to go. I get to stay home and play with our two unbelievably fun kids. Adam is just over a year and a half, and Annie is about 2 months. It's been a very happy 10 years since high school!

Ben & Lynsey (Steadman) Strader
Some people may look at us as an unlikely pair to end up together. Ten years ago, sitting by each other in choir class in Davis, we would have agreed with them. I like to tell people that I met Ben in high school while volunteering for 'Best Buddies' and was 'assigned' to him. He may not like that version of how we got together but that doesn't stop me from telling it anyway.
The truth is, after high school, Ben served a mission in Washington D.C. South while I went to USU & spent my summers in Jackson Hole. After Ben's mission he went to & graduated from BYU-Idaho. One day I got a random email from him asking me if he could come & hang out with me in Jackson Hole for a day. A year and a half later, we were married. It's now been 5 years since that fateful day (just kidding) and we are still in love & have the best time together. We have a cute little 2 1/2 year old boy, Caleb. We love him to death & apologize to him everyday for the genetics we have passed down to him.
We are now living in beautiful North Carolina, working together as live-in managers for a group home with troubled teens. We currently have 4 teenagers here with us who keep us on our toes. It is an absolute roller coaster ride but we are learning a lot & clinging to our sense of humor like it's going out of style. Ben is starting his doctorate program in Psychology this fall. We write about our experiences out here on our blog so here's the link in case you're interested.

Angela (Peterson) Dayton
Wow! It's amazing how fast time flies. To sum up the past 10 years in one paragraph is difficult. First, I want to say how fun it was to read through all of your posts and see your pictures. I'm impressed and touched by how family oriented everyone is. I'm also amazed at how children resemble their parents. It is fun to see what you must have looked like when you were little.

After high school, I attended Weber State University graduating with a bachelor's degree in 1999 and then went to Utah State University and graduated with a master's degree in 2000. After two long years of schooling and waiting for my missionary (John Dayton), we were married in December 2000. Luckily, I had my degrees so I was able to be his "sugar mamma" (his words, not mine) working for Morgan Stanley as the Communications and Training Coordinator while he pursued his Neroscience degree from BYU. We moved to Washington, DC in 2001 and lived in the Nation's Capital for four years while John attended George Washington University's School of Medicine. During that time, I managed President Bush's High-Growth Job Training Initiative and wrote a book and curriculum that teach the skills needed to be successful in the 21st century workplace.

In May 2005, we had our adorable daughter, Allison. She is an amazing girl and so fun to be around. She makes every day exciting! In November 2007, our son, Christian, was born weighing 9lbs 11oz and has been in the 90th percentile for size ever since. He is always pleasant and came home from the hospital sleeping through the night.

Staying home with my children is extremely rewarding, but I still do a little consulting and speaking while John finishes his residency in Emergency Medicine. We hope to move back to Utah in 2009. More than likely we'll be in Utah Valley or South Salt Lake so any insight anyone has on where to live in those areas would be great.

As we read your posts, my husband couldn't help but comment on how impressed he was by all of you. We feel bad that we'll be missing the reunion this year, but I feel privileged to have gone to school with you and can't wait to connect with you in the future.

One last note --- so John and I just had a sad realization that we don't have one "good" family picture. Apparently, that needs to be on our "to do" list, so you'll have just endure the subpar pictures we do have on our blog. :)

Amy (Nilsson) Cragun
It sure is fun to read about what everyone is doing
now days. So I will give you our little family
update.
After graduation, I continued my education at Weber
State, and a semester abroad in Israel. I met my
husband (Trent) and we dated for a year and were
married in March 2000. We both graduated with our
Bachelors degrees; he in Accounting, and I in Health
Administration. Trent got a job with Boeing
corporation, and I was the health educator at
McKay-Dee Hospital. We had 4 horses and lived in a
little farm house on 10 acres. We thought we were
little house on the prairie. But one thing was
missing, kids. So in 2003 we added little Porter to
our family. Then... 2004 Kael, 2006 Reese and 2008
Cache. We sold the horses and joined the business of
raising children. I quit work after Porter, and am
grateful to be able to stay home with the kids (most
days anyway :). Trent left boeing in 2004 and decided
that crunching numbers in front of a computer all day
was not the life for him, and is now building homes,
and doing Real Estate, which has been a great change,
and compliments many of his talents and strengths.
We have moved 8 times in 8 years, and are currently in
Logan. We really enjoy it here and plan to stay put
for a while. We keep busy mostly just maintaining
life with 4 kids under 5. We enjoy the outdoors and
are looking forward to spring hikes, bikes, parks and
picnics.

Annie (Elison) Winn
After high school I headed out to the BYU where I majored in French teaching. I never got the chance to teach after student teaching but I did end up marrying a fellow French speaker and we teach our kids enough of the language to keep Grandma thoroughly confused. My husband, Jason, is originally from Delaware. We met while at school and were married in 2002. We lived in Utah for a few years before moving to Pennsylvania for a job opportunity. No, we don't live anywhere near Scranton but we are close to Jason's parents and I like them better than Jim and Pam anyway. Jason is working for a financial investment company called Vanguard while I stay at home with the kids and do some random data entry work on the side. Jason loves books of every kind, he's a great swimmer and has a real soft spot for his girls. We have two daughters, Adrienne (two and a half) and Juliet (8 months). Adrienne loves anything to do with princesses or Barbies and insists on wearing her dress-up clothes wherever we go. Juliet loves anything to do with Mommy and has just started crawling so she can chase her sister around the house. I love experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen (my favorite is salsa), photography and I enjoy doing yoga when I have the time. Our yearly summer trip to Utah doesn't coincide with the reunion so we won't get to see you all, but we hope it turns out great!

Jonny & Taunya (Swallow) Allen
Taunya and I love reading your updates! A big thanks to Natalie for making this happen. I arrived home from a mission in Bolivia in February 2001, and Taunya and I were married in August of that same year. We spent five months in Logan while Taunya finished up degrees in Elementary Ed and Special Ed. We then moved down to Provo where I studied International Relations at BYU. Taunya taught at Lone Peak High School until our first daughter, Madelyn, was born. We spent three years in Provo and another three in Syracuse, New York for graduate school. During our second year in Syracuse, Allison was born. Last May, I graduated with degrees in Law and Public Administration from Syracuse University. In August of last year, we moved to Virginia (DC area) and got settled in time for the birth of child #3, this time a boy we named Caleb. Maddie is now 5, Allie is 2, and Caleb is 4 months. I work for a consulting firm (Deloitte) in DC. Taunya is home with the kids and very involved in church and friend activities. She has managed to keep up her running hobby and is preparing for her 4th marathon this fall in Baltimore. Life has been good to us and we feel blessed. We look forward to seeing you all in the Summer!

Kasey Child
After high school, I went up to Utah State for a couple of years. I took some time off to serve a Spanish speaking mission to Carlsbad, California. I came back in August of 2002 and was back up at USU 10 days later. I graduated in Marketing with a minor in Finance. I started working for a local defense contractor a couple of months later and I've been with the company ever since. I currently work as a Government Liaison in their Finance Department. I went back to school a couple years later and I graduated with my MBA from the University of Utah in May of 2007.

Back in May of 2003, I got my first stamp in my passport and I've been collecting them ever since! I've been to Chile, England, France, Italy, Switzerland, Mexico, Honduras, Belize, and most recently China. I'm in the process of planning another trip to Mexico this summer to help build a school and deliver hygiene kits.

I also wrote a "bucket list" a couple of years ago (101 Things To Do Before I Die) and I've been crossing them off ever since. Since then, I've driven a Zamboni, walked on the Great Wall, bought a house, run in a triathlon, been snorkeling, and acted in a community play (Singin' in the Rain) along with many other random adventures. I just crossed off #25 and I've got #26 and #27 scheduled for April.

I'm currently living in Murray and loving it. I can't believe it's been 10 years already. Time sure flies when you're having fun!

Minnette (Peterson) Marston
After Davis High, I went to Rick's College (BYU Idaho). Where I met and
married my wonderful husband Nick Marston and received my Associates
Degree in Arts and Science- just a few days before having my first son.
(I was quite a sight waddling nine months pregnant in my graduation robes
to receive my diploma. But I made it!) After that Nick finished up his
degree and we moved to Logan where he received his Bachelors from USU in
Landscape Construction. We are now settled in West Kaysville where Nick
works for Greene's Inc., managing their landscape construction division,
and I am lucky enough to be a stay at home mom where I get to raise my
two adorable boys; Taden (6) and Teancum (2) and am expecting our first
girl the first week of April! Our favorite pastime is laughing with our
hilarious boys and enjoying the crazy moments that life has to offer.

Allie (Vettori) Edwards
So much has happened since High School, I went to Weber State's Nursing program for my RN and graduated in 2001. Shortly after I served in the Hawaii Honolulu Mission from 2001-2003 (the greatest mission ever, as I'm sure most of you would agree). After getting home I attended the University of Utah to get my Bachelor's in Nursing. I haved loved Nursing because it fits so well with my personality (not because I'm nice, but because I like the variety). I've been also able to do lso many different things with nursing. I went to Guatemala to do health teaching to the Kekchi Indians, I've gone with Operation Smile to China, I worked with Utah's Medical Examiner, I worked in a Correctional Facility for troubled teens and now I work in the Emergency Dept at IMC (It's IHC's new monstrosity of a hospital). I've been in the ER for almost 4 years now and I love it (most of the time).

I married Reed Cameron Edwards, Taylorsville alumni (not all of us can marry within Davis), in Dec of 2004. Reed and I were set up by Scott Jones, also a Davis High alum. Reed and Scott served their mission together in Mexico City. Since then we've loved to travel all over. We've been to Italy, Switzerland, France, England, Mexico, Brazil, and Hawaii (several times). Reed works at Goldman Sachs doing account openings with private wealth management, supporting the New York offices. We've lived in Sandy, UT for the last 3 years. We just had our first child in Oct 2007, Jensen Reed Edwards. I know every parent says this, but he is the cutest thing ever. Being a mom is totally uncharted territory for me, but I'm loving every minute of it. He looks just like his dad, but he definitely got his stubborness from mom. I still work once or twice a week at the hospital, but I love staying home with my boy.

Marge (Caputo) Wheeler
It seems incomprehensible to me that ten years of my life have passed, especially ten year since I was in high school. Where did ALL that time go? After graduating from DHS I went to college for two years at Westminster in Salt Lake City. I married my high school sweet heart, Chris Wheeler (DHS Alum '96), and we lived in Ogden for a little over a year. At which time we moved with his job (AOL) to Northern Virginia. We had a great time making new friends and going to visit many historic sites. If you haven't already done so make a trip back east with your family and discover the history of America. We returned to Davis County, Woods Cross, about 4 years ago and we love being close to our friends and family. Our little family loves to camp (we have a trailer so I don't really count it as camping) and go on long four wheeler rides. I keep busy working part time at State Farm Insurance, taking care of our 16 month old daughter Elizabeth, playing on recreational volleyball and basketball teams and watching movies with my husband. I love to learn to do new things, while on bed rest during pregnancy I taught myself how to crochet (ladies if Marge Caputo can do it, then so can you!). I'm excited to get to see everyone that is able to make it to the reunion and want to give a BIG shout out to the senior officers and committee for doing such a great job of getting the word out to as many people as possible in advance. GO DARTS!

Hello! This is Meghan (Leeman) Frost. I thought I'd fill you all in on what happened to ME! I went to BYU and studied Audiology and Speech Pathology. I also minored in Spanish. I was able to study abroad and live in Spain for a semester. I loved it. I graduated with my bachelor's from BYU in 2002 and shortly after met my hubby, Steve. I worked as a Speech Pathologist for Alpine School District while he finished up his Master's degree at BYU in structural engineering. I completed my Master's in Speech Pathology while I worked for the school district. Speaking Spanish has really helped me in my job.

In summer of 2006, after Steve graduated, we bought a home and moved to West Jordan, UT. Steve took a job with an engineering firm in Sandy, UT. I work one morning a week for Jordan School District as a speech therapist. In the summers, I teach swimming lessons. As you can tell, I love working with little kids! We have a 2 year old, Lauren, who is into EVERYTHING and we just had another little girl, Molly, about 2 months ago. I love being home with my girls. Ironically, my husband Steve was in the same mission as Doug Timothy and they are great friends. I am excited to see everyone this summer!

Brett Garner
Immediately after high school Brett sent his mission papers into Morris Murdoch Travel Agency and got his call to Jamaica. He served from September 1998-September 2000 in both Jamaica and Grand Cayman. He worked hard for the next few years after his mission working full time for Verizon Wireless while also going to school full time at Weber State University. He graduated with his BS (how appropriate) in Technical Sales in December of 2004. I grew up in Sandy (Alta High class of 98... Brett loves to remind me that you guys beat us in the state soccer finals that year...go Hawks!) and we are one of the rare blind date success stories. We were married on May 11, 2004 at the ancient age of 24! Since we were so 'old' when we got married we didn't waste any time starting our family and our little boy Hunter was born 6 days after our first anniversary (for those calendar counters... we were pregnant 3 months AFTER we were married :) ) Our daughter Samantha was born 20 months later on January 11, 2007. Hunter is his daddy's shadow and the two buddies are never happier than when they are on the golf course together! Samantha definitely has her daddy wrapped around her little finger and is our little clown! Business wise Brett is a partner/ Director of Sales for a freight auditing firm downtown, while at the same time sneaking in some golf in the hopes to become the next Tiger Woods. We bought a house in Clearfield right before Hunter was born and have been here ever since. We are looking forward to the reunion and getting to meet/catch up with everyone!

Circe (Collier) McClure
After my three lovely years at Davis High I attended Southern Utah University in Cedar City. In July of 2000 I married Nate McClure who is also a Davis High graduate (1993). We have stayed pretty close to home and have lived in Kaysville and Layton and now in Syracuse where we have been for almost two years and LOVE it. We have two little girls: Kaia is 6 and is loving everything about Kindergarten. Laken is 3 and loves to tell jokes and go to her dance class. Nate owns a company called Service Master that does water damage restoration which keeps him very busy and I am lucky enough to get to stay home with my girls.

Chad & Desiree (Garner) Hansen
After high school I served a mission in Merida, Mexico. Oddly enough there were 7 or 8 other Elders from Davis in my same mission. I returned home and politely asked Des to dump her current boyfriend so that I could start dating her again. We were married 5 months later. We both graduated from Weber State in Technical Sales and I have been in sales ever since. We love to spend time outdoors boating, hunting, fishing, camping, playing soccer, golf and whatever else as a family. We have two handsome boys, Porter (4) and Trace (2 in June) and recently found out that #3 should be here in October. We currently live in Syracuse and love being close to both of our families and friends. Life is good and we have much to be grateful for.

Kara (Cullimore) Yeates
After graduating from dear old DHS I attended Weber State University. I met my husband, Mike Yeates, while we were both driving home one day from Weber State...(it's a long, divine intervention story!!!)...We dated for a year and were married in August of 2000. Mike worked on his Masters while he waited to hear from Medical Schools. I worked as an Admin Assistant for the Real Estate Group at Wells Fargo in Salt Lake City. We had our first little girl, Bailee Rebecca in November 2003. She is 4 now and enjoys dressing up as a princess, dance lessons, and singing.

In July of 2004 we moved to the exciting city of Las Vegas. Mike has been attending medical school at Touro University and will graduate in May of this year. We find out where he goes for residency in about 10 days. We are hoping for Utah, but will go wherever we are supposed to be! I still am getting used to hearing people call him 'Dr. Yeates'.

We had our second little girl, Samantha Kara in September 2006. She is a typical 18-month old with all sorts of energy and funny things to say! I work in Vegas as a mystery shopper. It is exciting, interesting, stressful and fun all at the same time! Mike likes it because it has made me get sick of shopping very EASY!

Our little girls are the loves of our lives. They bring so much joy and happiness to our home. We are so lucky to have two beautiful girls. Mike is very patient and loves all three of his girls!

Scott & Niki (Hill) Martineau
After graduation Scott served a mission to Rosario, Argentina and I moved to Logan to attend Utah State. While at USU I was hired at Delta Airlines as a flight attendant and moved to New York City. I traveled all over the US and Europe, it was a great experience. Scott returned home in late December 2000 and began school at Weber State. We ran into each other in February and began dating. We got engaged in May and planned to marry in December so that I had time to get a transfer from NY to Salt Lake. I was transferred just before September 11th 2001 and then was laid off on December 1st, which worked out great since we were getting married in 2 weeks. I ended up working as a secretary, and Scott finished school getting a degree in construction management. Now 6 1/2 years later we have two boys, Tate is 4 and Max is 1. Scott enjoys his job building custom homes and I love being a stay at home mom. We live in Kaysville and love traveling, skiing, boating and doing lots of things with our boys.

Mindy (Hibler) Harris
After graduating from Davis, I started dating Steve Harris (Davis High Class of 95, and yes, Anna Harris' brother.) I somewhat attended 1 semester at UVSC. Steve and I were married the February after we graduated. We recently had our 9 year anniversary. Schooling ended there for me. I worked for 2 different doctors offices as a receptionist and a couple years at Gap. I have been a stay-at-home mom for the last 7 years. We lived in our first home in West Layton for 5 years and have been in our home in Syracuse for the last 4. We are so in love with our 3 children; Caden is 7, Halle is 5 and Carson is 2. We stay busy camping, traveling, boating, fishing and just being together. Life is pretty darn good!!!

Hello all. wow! it has been 10 years this june.. how crazy is that!! I think that it is so awesome that the class officers have been so great to create this for all of us.. Any way well this is what is going on with me. well I am a teacher of 4-5 yr olds I teach at weber state university at the Melba s. Lehner children's school. I also teach for head start in ogden... Along with that I work for an after school program. Last summer I had the oppurtunity to run a tennis club for kindergarten to 6th grade. It was awesome!! These jobs definitely keep me busy... Back in 2002 I had the oppurtunity to spend a month in France studying the language culture and the wonderful History of France. Because of spending time there I decided to minor in French at WSU. Besides all of that I am currently living in Farmington and I am in the RS Presidency of my YSA ward. I love it there are so many awesome people that I have met in that ward... Some of the hobbies that I have aquaried are photography, hiking, camping, snowshoeing, mopeding that is a funny story in itself, and of course traveling... Over all I am enjoying life hanging with friends and spending time with my fam.. other than that I can't think of anything else... But this finally quote and oh yah I am writing a quote book... in words of President Hinckley... " you're not a failure unless you quit trying."
PSSS... a few tid bits I forgot to mention. I was involved with the LDS sorority Lambda Delta Sigma from 98-2004.. It was a great oppurtunity....

Jennifer (Dabb) van Bree
I got married one year after graduation, to a 1997 davis high alumni, Dustin van Bree. He is in the United States Navy, as a Corpsman, OR Medic!!! is what the marines hollar when they are injured... My AMAZING husband has been to Iraq twice, and seeing as I am not sure if he will be there again or not for the reunion I will be coming alone. We have 2 Beautiful Kids.. Gabriel is 5 and Liberty is 1, and our third will be here in October. we have it down to Grace Noelle, or William Christopher, depending on what ultrasound results say... *wink* I may not look the same as I did in high school.. I was slightly heavy then, and unfortunatly it just got worse as I got older.. so in Jan. of 2005, I had Gastric bypass surgery, and went from 302 on Jan. 25th 2005 to a nice and comfortable 150. I am very proud of myself, and sooo amazingly happy that I did it.. I wont look all skinny cause I will be in the last half of my pregnancy by the reunion, but even still a difference is by far noticable.. *wink again* Since marrying and dustin going into the military, I have lived in Chicago, Florida, California, and Currently Virginia, We will be back in California come june. with a very happy and exciting detour to utah thru the month of may, and me and the kids back in july for the reunion! We hope to be living in utah again for a few years come next year as the Military is hurting for doctors, and has offered to pay for my husbands medical school, at his school of choice, and he has chosen univerity of utah. It will be nice to live close to family and friends again for a while. I feel that my biggest accomplishment so far has been, being a supportive military wife, My husband makes me so proud of all he does. I look forward to so many more adventures ahead of us in his military career. And raising my kids.. I can't wait to see everyone in july!! I look forward to it tons!! Yay.....

Rani (Goodspeed) Hiller
After graduating from Davis, I spent two years down at Dixie in St. George. After graduating from there, I transferred to the University of Utah and received a Bachelor's degree in Biology. I served a french speaking mission in the Belgium Brussels/Netherlands mission from 2002-2003. I married my sweetheart Andrew Hiller in June of 2005 and we live out in the Farmington Ranches. Andrew is from Farmington and a Davis alum also, class of 1994. I worked at ARUP Laboratories as a Medical Technologist until our sweet Claire was born on September 28, 2006. Since then, I have been at home with her, but I guess we really aren't home all that much. Andrew owns a scrapbooking manufacturing company and he travels all of the time. Claire and I don't like to stay home alone so we go along with him. We have traveled to Hong Kong, Hawaii, Mexico, Florida, California, New York, Belgium, France and London (some places multiple times). We are absolutely crazy about Claire and she keeps us running all of the time. Life is pretty great and I can't believe how fast ten years goes by.

Dallin Hutchinson
Life since graduating from dear old Davis High School has been awesome! I served an LDS mission to Melbourne, Australia in 1999. When I got home I went to work for SkyWest Airlines, and just happened to work alongside a fellow DHS Alum Bobby Webb. It was a great experience for two years, being able to frivolously travel the world for free and go to places throughout Asia, the Pacific, the United States and Europe. My time at SkyWest came to an end though when I was accepted into Brigham Young University in 2003.

I earned my bachelors degree in Urban, Rural and Environmental Planning and International Development at BYU. During my time there, and within months after the Asian Tsunami disaster n 2004, I was recruited by an organization to develop a planning strategy for the Indonesian government for the rehabilitation and reconstruction of Aceh Province on the island of Sumatra in Indonesia. I was working on the Indonesia project until 2006, when the University of Tasmania accepted me into their Master of Environmental Planning program. I'll be done in June 2008.

In the meantime, I am still living on the awesome island of Tasmania (not Tanzania) where I am working as a Community Planner for the local government, and exploring one of the most rugged landscapes on earth. I will likely be staying until April of 2009 when I complete my employment contract and receive citizenship, making me a dual-citizen of both the United States and the Australian Commonwealth.

It is so awesome to hear about everybody else's life and what you've been up to over the last decade. I'm looking forward to catching up with all of you at the reunion

Justin & Anna (Harris) Atwater
After graduating high school Justin served a mission in Paraguay and I moved to Provo to attend BYU. We were married in 2001 shortly after he returned home. We both received our undergraduate degrees from BYU, and soon after I began working at the Governor's Office where I stayed for over four years. Justin completed his Masters in Accountancy at BYU and then we moved into our home in Layton while he attended law school at the U of U. Justin graduated in May of 2007 and now works in Salt Lake as an attorney at the law firm of Durham Jones Pinegar. We have one little boy named Coleman (Justin's mini-me!), who will be two years old in June.

Jessica Shumway Sebag
After the fabulous years at DHS, I moved to Washington, DC to attend the George Washington University. I met my husband, Ronen, while I was there and we have now been married almost 6 years. Somehow in the past 8 years between our moves from DC to Austin and back to DC, we have both become teachers and are enjoying every minute of it! Ronen teaches at a senior high school in Washington, DC and I teach mathematics and implement professional development for an elementary school in Fairfax County School District in Virginia. We currently live in Alexandria, VA with our two cats Tex and Oz. We travel as often as possible and always make it to our summer home in West Kaysville (my parents' house) at least once or twice a year.

Well, after those fun-filled years at DHS, I married
my cute hubby, Nate Quist (who is also a Davis High
alum of '96)in 2000. We have three darling little
girls that we are crazy about. 4 1/2 year old Maren, 2
year old Brookie, and our latest addition of 1 month
old Claire. I think it's about time for another family
picture!!

We just haven't been able to get enough of a good
thing and made the LONG move from Kaysville to West
Kaysville with all the livestock. Nate is working in
Salt Lake with Merrill Lynch. And, as for me, I am
lucky enough to stay at home with my 3 best girlfriends!

Cory & Paige (Workman) Hill
Cory and I were married in June of 2001. After waiting for Cory for two long years while he served his mission in Spain, our wedding day couldn't come soon enough! After we were married, we rented a little duplex on Main St. in Kaysville, right across the street from "Dear old Davis High"! After about a year of apartment life, I had had enough and convinced Cory to build our first home! (about two weeks later, I found out I was pregnant!) We moved into our house in Clearfield in December of 2002. Kannon was born a month later on January 22, 2003. A little less than a year later, I found out I was pregnant AGAIN!! On, September 1, 2004 Ellie was born. Kannon and Ellie are best friends! They don't like to do anything without each other! Kannon, now 5 years old, loves going to preschool, and can't wait for kindergarten next year! Kannon also loves to play baseball, and to watch the Yankees with his dad! He loves basketball, the Jazz (especially Kyle Korver), snowmobiling, swimming, and anything else outside! Ellie is so ready to go to preschool, and can't understand why she can't stay at school with Kannon. She is our social butterfly! She loves to talk and talk to anyone who will listen. She loves to dance and tumble. She also likes to snowmobile, swim, go boating, and pretty much anything else her big brother likes to do!
Cory started working at Industrial Container right after returning home from his mission. Luckily for us, he was able to move up quickly in the company. He works as a outside sales rep, and loves his job. I graduated from beauty school not long before Cory returned home. After having two kids, I am lucky enough to work at my salon in our home.
Cory and I decided it was time to find a home where we could establish some roots. In October 2006 we bought our home in east Layton. We couldn't be happier with where we are. Cory and I love to go and do anything fun together! We love to snowmobile, swim, go boating, and ride his motorcycle together! We are very adventurous and love to try new things. We also enjoy camping, and the drive in. (even with kids, we still have fun at the drive in!) Cory enjoys cycling and hiking with his brother and his dad. I have discovered a love for running and have enjoyed participating in races all over the state!
We are loving being parents and raising our little family. Kannon and Ellie are working hard to convince their parents to have a new baby live at our house! To be continued...

Once again....a hilarious spotlight! Written by Doug Timothy himself...
So, I work for a company that shoots missiles at interplanetary satellites that are visiting different moons and planets in our solar system. Good crap, Layne! Thanks for making all our jobs seem like preschool.

My family just moved from Phoenix to Minneapolis where I recently started working for Target. My group supports the credit and debit card arm of Target with their technology projects. It’s all earth bound stuff, nothing out of this world like others from our class (Layne “job ruiner” Caldwell).

About 2 ½ years ago I somehow convinced the beautiful Darci Racker (Michael Bullard’s cousin) to marry me. We have one little 8 month old boy, Ladd, and I can’t get enough of him. I’m currently teaching Ladd the Davis High fight song and hope to have him ready to sing next time we’re in Utah.

Thanks to all that are keeping this blog going, it’s great to hear how everyone is doing.

Layne Caldwell wrote a great spotlight....so funny!! So we thought we would just put exactly what he wrote!

So a little about us: We are living in San Jose and I have a job working for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration at the Ames Research Center in Mountain View. I'm with a team working on the launch of an interplanetary satellite that will visit 6 other planets on our solar system and a couple of the moons of Jupiter. Pretty neat stuff. As you might be able to tell from the picture, I married Kirsten Dunst. After the Spider-Man movies we decided to get married and have a bunch of kids. (Actually I married Jami Valentine from DHS class of 2000.) We are the proud owners of a two-year-old boy, Trenton, and six-month-old twin girls: Raegan and Sadie. I bet that might come as a shocker to some, but it is my reality. Life is pretty stinkin' good.

Kayla Cutler Packer is currently living in Riverton, Utah with her husband Chad and their beautiful 3 month old daughter Brenna. She and Chad married a little over 2 years ago and love to play volleyball, hike and do anything active together. Chad is a graduate of Layton High and is now a computer programmer at LANDesk in South Jordan. Kayla is a stay at home mom, which she says is the best job in the world. Brenna loves to eat, sleep and play with her mom.

Lora Joye McPherson
Lora Joye McPherson 1980 ~ 2008 FRUIT HEIGHTS - Lora Joye McPherson, 27, returned home to Heavenly Father on Jan. 21, 2008, after a long battle with cancer. She passed away in her sleep at home surrounded by family. Lora was born to Oliver Lee and Nancy Joye Saunders McPherson on March 12, 1980 in Kirkland, WA. Lora's greatest joys were spending time with family, exercising, playing piano, crocheting, gardening, and serving others. Lora was an active member of the LDS Church. She loved the gospel and Jesus Christ. She lifted others with the strength of her spirit. She overcame many health problems in her life, including several types of cancer- but Lora never lost her smile. After graduating from Davis High and LDS Seminary, Lora received degrees from Weber State and Brigham Young University. Lora is survived by her parents; her siblings, Lamont (Jenn), Shauna, Eric (Keesha), Marci (Dan) Dorman, Jared (Chrissa), and Heather (Shayne) Taylor; her grandmother, Berniece Loughton Saunders; her five nieces; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Awaiting her in heaven are her brother, Arthur, and three grandparents: Albert G. Saunders and Arthur and Lorna Hull McPherson. Funeral services will be held Fri., January 25, 11 a.m. at the LDS chapel at 901 S. Mountain Rd., Fruit Heights. Friends and family may call on Thurs. 6-8 p.m. and Fri. 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the same location. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Lora McPherson BYU Scholarship Fund at Zion's Bank.
